At Macfab, we enhance our machining operations with comprehensive finishing services, exclusive to our CNC machining and assembly customers. Our in-house capabilities include manual and mass media deburring, media blasting, polishing, electropolishing for small parts, passivation, precision cleaning, and vapor degreasing. These processes optimize part performance by smoothing edges, removing tool marks, and improving surface finish, corrosion resistance, and pathogen resistance.

Our finishing services meet stringent surface finish requirements through traditional machine-aided polishing and precision electropolishing, delivering results down to a microscopic level. We also offer precision cleaning, passivation, and vapor degreasing for the most demanding applications, ensuring thorough cleanliness at a molecular level. Additionally, our brazing, honing/lapping, laser engraving, leak testing, and swaging services allow us to provide highly refined finishes and tight tolerances, traceability, and secure mechanical joints.

To further support our customers, we maintain a network of quality-vetted subcontractors for additional processes such as EDM, grinding, heat treating, welding, vacuum brazing, laser cutting, water jetting, chemical etching, NDT, plating, painting, coatings, and other surface treatments.
